Lucy…
I had been working as a copywriter since April 2008 when I decided to establish a name for my services. During those previous 7 months I had been doing all kinds of writing work, from blog posts for international health campaigns to news releases on computer software.
Reviews, sales copy and auto responder emails have since joined my repertoire and I continue to provide these services for a number of clients on a global base. What astounds me  is how much I’m learning each day, not only in terms of the content that I’m writing but also how different the worlds of real time media and online marketing can be.
This brings me neatly on to SEO. Whether you understand Search Engine Optimisation or not, as a website owner you will know that SEO content is of paramount importance in today’s web-based marketing world. Almost since day one I’ve been learning about SEO and implementing it into my work. Working as a senior news release copywriter for a PR agency has been especially helpful in teaching me this skill. Many copywriters resent the way keywords disrupt the flow of writing, yet once you have an understanding of the concept it becomes more of a welcome challenge.
Before I digress into the ins and outs of creating SEO content, let me point you towards my blog post which tells you more about my background. Feel free to contact me via email if you have any more questions.
